BackgroundReplacer is free to use. You do not need an account. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
Your content stays yours
Images you open and the files you export belong to you, or to whoever holds their rights. Because editing happens on your device, we do not receive your images and claim no rights in them or in your results.
Rights to the images you edit
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and change the photos and backgrounds you work with, and for how you use the results. That includes respecting copyright, licenses and the privacy of people who appear in your images.
ID and document photos
The passport and ID tools help you prepare a photo, but requirements are set by each issuing authority and differ by country and document type. We do not promise that any photo made here will be accepted. Check the official requirements before you print or submit, including whether edited photos are allowed.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to create or edit unlawful content, to impersonate another person, or to produce fraudulent or forged documents. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload the model storage, or interfere with other visitors' use of it.
No warranty
The tool is provided as is and as available. Automatic detection can make mistakes, and results depend on your photo, your device and your browser. Check every result before you rely on it or publish it. We may change, pause or withdraw features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including lost data, lost business, or a rejected application or listing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
